Kendra Wilkinson Says She’s Not Interested In Appearing In DWTS

It looks like this former Playboy bunny has gotten her priorities straight.  Reality television star Kendra Wilkinson says she’s not the type of mother who would leave her child to do shows such as “Dancing With The Stars,” which some are taking as a direct diss to mother-of-eight and reality star Kate Gosselin.

Wilkinson was on the “Today Show” when she said:  “I would definitely say no to ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ because I am that mom that wants to be there every step.  I don’t want to spend three months away from my baby.  I just couldn’t do that.”

Unlike Gosselin, Wilkinson can prioritize time with her newborn son at home while father and NFL star Hank Bassett has a steady job on the football field.  Gosselin, who shot to fame with her former TLC reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” doesn’t have it so easy as the sole breadwinner to her eight children.  Ex-husband Jon is currently unemployed, making the DWTS paychecks more of a necessity for the Gosselin clan.

Wilkinson was quick to deny that her comments were in direct criticism to Gosselin, by later tweeting: “Didn’t mean to bash Kate just meant to say I hate leaving my baby?lol. Sorry if ppl took it that way.”

In fact, there were so many fans near the film’s set in Venice eagerly trying to get a glimpse of their idols that production had to be shut down due to the pandemonium.
