Actor Gerard Butler has been cleared of the battery charges he faced in connection with his scuffle with a paparazzo back in October of 2008.

The incident happened after the star and the photographer got into an altercation outside the premiere party for director Guy Ritchie’s “RocknRolla.”

Butler claimed the pap was following him all day and stalking him.

He also claimed that the photographer almost killed a pedestrian as he chased Butler through Hollywood.
