Filmmaker Brett Ratner will be adapting the Bollywood blockbuster “Kites” into a Western film. The “Rush Hour” director is reportedly “editing” an English version of the Asian film. Ratner, whose credits include “The Family Man,” “Red Dragon,” and “X-Men: The Last Stand,” is said to be working on an international English version of the Bollywood film by Anurag Basu. The domestic version has already been completed and will be released in January, while the international version is still being formatted. The move is being welcomed by acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, who said this might result in the world coming closer. |
