GLAAD Understands Why ABC Cancels Adam Lambert’s Guest Appearances

GLAAD understands ABC’s decision to cancel Adam Lambert’s guest appearances. After hearing the alphabet network’s explanation, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation now understands the cancellations have nothing to do with homophobia.

The network first canceled the “American Idol” alum’s performance in “Good Morning America” after his racy American Music Awards performance last month.

It has also recently canceled his scheduled appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and on its upcoming New Year’s Eve special.

After discussing with ABC, GLAAD says it now understands that sexual orientation was not a factor in their decisions.
