Golden-Globe nominated actress Jane Lynch is set to play another hard ass teacher in Family Guy spinoff The Cleveland Show. Lynch will appear as Roberta’s cold hearted teacher Ms. Eck in the show on January 10. Lynch says Ms. Eck is quite like Sue Sylvester in Glee in that they both “lack filters and say whatever awful thing comes into their mind”.

Lynch is fabulous in pretty much everything she does and it’s great the Lynch goodness is finally being smothered all over TV. Fan response to The Cleveland Show episode seems to suggest it will pick up quite a few new viewers based purely on the fact Jane Lynch is making her guest appearance.
