Howard Stern stepped out in New York on Thursday night for the premiere of Matt Damon’s new film ‘Green Zone,’ and the radio icon offered “The Insider” his uncensored thoughts about new “Idol” judge Ellen DeGeneres and the changes he says he’d make to the show if he ended up joining it next season. “I read in the paper that they want to give me $100 million to judge a karaoke contest, and that seems like pretty good pay for something as dumb as that,” Stern said of the rumors that he’s received offers to be part of next season’s “Idol.” And he didn’t sugarcoat his feelings about the prospect of working alongside DeGeneres! “Ellen has said she won’t work with me, but quite frankly, after watching her on the stupid show, I gotta tell ya, I won’t work with Ellen. She’s out if I come in.” Keep watching to find out why Stern thinks “Idol” is “in trouble” once Simon Cowell leaves after this season!
