Hollywood broke Brittany Murphy’s heart. Husband Simon Monjack told Larry King on his show that the industry should be blamed for his wife’s untimely demise in December.

He said, “You want to know what broke Brittany Murphy’s heart? Hollywood broke Brittany Murphy’s heart.”

Monjack also said that the 32-year-old’s death left him devastated, saying, “It’s like a rebirth. It’s – there’s not enough time to – your dreams, be they good or bad, when you wake up and I reach out to touch or hold my wife, she isn’t there.”

The widower and Murphy’s mother, Sharon, have been holding onto each other for support since the “Uptown Girls” star’s death.
