Jennifer Lopez sets out to help the ladies’ man of “How I Met Your Mother.” The 40-year-old actress/singer will play Anita Appleby, a self-help book author who attempts to train men in relationships, and in this case she’s working on breaking bachelor Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris). “We couldn’t be more excited about Jennifer Lopez joining us on ‘How I Met Your Mother,” says executive producer and co-creator Carter Bays. “We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred.” Lopez is scheduled to appear on the hilarious hit CBS show sometime in March. “HIMYM” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
