Michael Jackson’s Estate Executors Ask For Higher Fee

Michael Jackson’s estate executors are asking a judge for a higher statutory fee. John Branca and John McClain claims they have to work long hours to defend the estate from the continuous legal attacks of the late singer’s parents, Joe and Katherine Jackson.

Since the King of Pop’s death, their business reputations and the singer’s reputation and character were repeatedly attacked, which they were forced to correct publicly. Michael and his brands were defendants in 11 separate lawsuits at the time of his death, and the amount of cases got even more demanding after he passed away.

According to the documents filed in court and obtained by TMZ, the two Johns also claim since they were appointed as executors, they have been working 14 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Branca and McClain are asking for “extraordinary compensation” for the work most executors never have to do.
