Movie Critic Roger Ebert Blasts Rush Limbaugh, Says He Should Be Horse-Whipped

Roger Ebert thinks Rush Limbaugh should be horse-whipped. The movie critic has penned an open letter to the conservative political commentator for his anti-administration comment about the donations for the Haiti earthquake victims. A known critic of President Barack Obama, Limbaugh blasted the U.S. leader for responding quickly to the Haitian catastrophe and suggesting people may donate money to relief agencies listed on the White House website. Ebert responded to his comment on Thursday on his Sun Times blog, saying, “You should be horse-whipped for the insult you have paid to the highest office of our nation.” “Having followed President Obama’s suggestion and donated money to the Red Cross for relief in Haiti, I was offended to hear you suggest the President might be a thief capable of stealing money intended for the earthquake victims.” |
