The top rated Russian game show “What? Where? When?” has been ordered by ABC and renamed The Six. The show is a huge hit in Russia and features six contestants – who are experts in a field – must answer questions sent in by viewers.

It sounds like an interesting show and if it’s the number one show in russia it may well be a hit in the US, people generally aren’t that different when you get right down to it regardless of geography. Merv Griffin Entertainment are the people behind the US pilot for ABC. It’s thought the show will remain true to the original Russian format, but with a few localization tweaks.
