Pete Doherty has been rearrested just moments after he avoided jail for a DUI. The Babyshambles rocker was arrested Monday at the Gloucester Crown Court for drug possession.

The 30-year-old troubled musician was initially spared from jail after admitting to careless and drink driving in June. He was just ordered to pay 2,050 pounds or around ,300, and banned from driving for 18 months.

But later, police escorted him from the court to the police station across the road.

According to ThisIsGloucestershire.co.uk, officers confirmed that he had been arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug, but refused to divulge what type. Doherty was told of his arrest in the corridors of the court.
